JOB DESCRIPTION The Project/Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining sales relations with customers and providing them with the knowledge and expertise required to ensure their buying experience and project(s) are successful while maintaining profitability through sod sales, expense control, human resources management, and managing operation costs. A Project/Sales manager is responsible for seeking out new customers, providing pricing or bids as requested, facilitating the completion of all paperwork required for the job, scheduling, overseeing the project from start to finish managing the freight and installation logistics, helping to resolve any customer issues and ensuring that safety rules and regulations are met.
What to Expect in the Role:
Ensure that each customer receives outstanding Customer Service by providing a professional environment which includes maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of Customer
Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and sales meet or exceed goals and
Maintain adherence to all Company policies and
Manage questions or complaints and offer
Ensure that shipments are delivered Track and trace the process.
Maintain compliance with Company standards of safety, security, facility maintenance, postings
otifications, and other administrative
Maintain accurate records of sales leads, sales quotes, job status reports, and job
Gather and report data on current market conditions and any other factors that may influence the company’s ability to sell products and
Maintain and continually develop a reputation for providing dependable, high-quality, solid, and valuable goods and services.
What We Will Be Needing From You:
Knowledge of most warm season turfgrass types and applications including best practices for the installation and maintenance in various golf, sport-fields, and commercial
Working a full-time schedule including weekends and
Committed to working the hours necessary to complete jobs
Availability to travel, as well as traveling between job sites is
Excellent mathematical skills, including application and use in problem-solving.
Sensitivity to problems and the capability to tell when something is wrong or likely to go
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or management in a timely and satisfactory
The operation and use of all equipment necessary to complete
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and
Knowledge of government contract management and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best
Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or
Collaborative management style, exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
Knowledge of tax and other compliance implications of non-profit status
