Responsibilities

Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.

Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.

Serve as an empathetic problem solver for customers by utilizing the in‑depth training to recommend the best innovative pest solution.

Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads – we provide a robust advertising budget.

Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers at their homes to explain how Orkin’s products give them peace of mind.

Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home – training provided.

Make recommendations based on inspection findings, addressing questions and setting expectations.

Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized – training included.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

No experience required.

Valid driver’s license required.

Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required – company paid.

Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.

Physical Job Requirements

Use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.

Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Wear personal protective equipment; may require OSHA‑compliant respirator.

Work in various weather conditions.
