Overview As an Orkin Home Sales Inspector, you’ll deliver persuasive pitches for top‑notch pest protection, backed by award‑winning training and a legacy of 125 years of industry leadership. You’ll conduct 360 inspections, recommend solutions, and build trusted relationships to protect homeowners’ most valuable asset.

Responsibilities You'll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and how to make strategic recommendations to customers.

Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.

Conduct yourself with utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.

Serve as an empathetic problem solver, recommending the best innovative pest solution based on in‑depth training.

Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.

Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services.

Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home.

Make recommendations based on inspection and identify any questions to explain the process and set expectations.

Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and maintain organization.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

No experience required.

Valid driver’s license required.

Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).

Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.

Work Environment

Use ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.

Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Access capture spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including OSHA‑compliant respirator.

Work in various weather conditions.
