Job Summary
Employment Specialist provides work‑related services, including assessment, job readiness training, and skills building with patients. The position requires spending at least 80% of the time in the community, working with employers, community colleges, skills centers, probation, and the criminal justice system. The specialist will also work with each client after employment is obtained to ensure ongoing supports that sustain active and meaningful employment.
Skills / Requirements
High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in behavioral health or a medical field preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience working in either the behavioral health or medical field.
Lived experience in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders, homelessness, family members and veterans preferred.
Current Arizona driver’s license (valid and in good standing).
Clear 39‑month motor vehicle record.
Certified Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9‑10‑101.33 and CBI clinical policies and procedures.
