Executive Chef – Saginaw, MI

We are growing and need your culinary expertise along with leadership. As Executive Chef you will lead a dynamic team, motivate staff, and collaborate with dietitians to deliver quality menus that satisfy residents.
Responsibilities
Organize and direct the culinary team and management staff.
Help in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus.
Work together with dietitians on menus and offerings for residents.
Produce high‑quality plates.
Ensure the kitchen operates timely and meets quality standards.
Lead and develop the team, manage conflict and resolution.
Manage and train kitchen staff, establish schedules, and assess performance.
Order supplies and maintain inventory appropriately.
Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Executive Chef.
Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Excellent record of kitchen and staff management.
Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations.
Familiar with industry best practices.
Working knowledge of MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS.
BS degree in culinary science or related certificate a plus.
Culinary experience: 3 years (Preferred).
Cooking: 3 years (Preferred).
Kitchen management: 3 years (Preferred).
Skills
Proven experience as an Executive Chef.
Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
