Summary We are currently seeking a Western Regional Sales Manager. The Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and supporting all Industrial sales activity, including managing the Territory Sales Managers within the Western U.S. region. This role involves strategic planning, performance management, coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive sales growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies in alignment with corporate objectives.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to sales team members.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new sales hires, focusing on sales‑related responsibilities.
Collaborate with team members to develop and manage budgets.
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans.
Facilitate cross‑departmental collaboration to improve operational efficiency.
Gather and analyze feedback from the sales team to identify tool and resource needs.
Participate in the recruitment and interview process for open sales positions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field (or applicable experience)
10+ Years of technical sales experience
Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in industrial automation or sensor technologies.
Existing relationships with key Industrial OEM and Distribution customers
Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
Proficiency in Salesforce, MS Office, SAP
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Ability to travel up to 30% within the Western U.S.
