In addition, we are the largest pump service organization in the upper Midwest. Electric Pump is comprised of eight locations in seven states with approximately 135 employees. Our offices have a friendly, laid‑back environment.
Job Summary The Inside Sales Representative position develops, maintains and interacts primarily utilizing the phone and electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers within the water, wastewater, and industrial markets to increase sales of products and/or services. Develops sales strategies designed to demonstrate the features and benefits of the products to achieve increased sales and profitability.
Essential Functions
Handle incoming customer and outside sales inquiries via phone or email, providing product information, pricing, and availability
Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
Prepare quotes, sales orders, and invoices accurately and efficiently using company ERP and CRM systems
Maintain strong understanding of product lines, applications, and system technologies
Collaborate with outside sales team to manage accounts, follow up on quotes, and help identify new sales opportunities
Stay updated on manufacturer products, industry trends, and competitive offerings
Assist with inventory management

Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma required with 2 years related experience or an Associate's degree in a technical or business discipline. Related experience would look like minimum of 2 years in a sales or sales support experience and 2 years in customer service, public speaking, or training role.
