What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone-based technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move, hook up, and inspect U-Haul trucks and trailers
Educate customers on products and services, answering any questions they may have
Prepare rental invoices and manage equipment returns
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
Willingness to adhere to safety precautions while working with equipment and chemicals
Availability for ongoing training and education
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with equipment inspections or maintenance
Certification or willingness to obtain certifications for filling propane and driving a forklift
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
