Golf Shop Staff
Position Summary: The Golf Shop Staff member at Keith Hills performs all golf shop duties in a positive and professional manner while providing an exceptional experience for all members and patrons of the club. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Answer phones in a professional manner. Schedule tee times for members and patrons. Use point of sale to sell merchandise as well as other golf-related items. Help with setup, scoring and take-down of tournaments and events. Provide excellent customer service and assist with the management of the golf shop including: Keeping the golf shop neat, clean and organized. Check-in, price and properly display merchandise. Manage inventory and keep golf shop merchandise well stocked. Place orders for customers as needed. Open and close cash register daily, as well as make deposits. Coordination with cart and maintenance staff about daily needs. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED Valid NC driver's license required Customer service experience and knowledge of golf course etiquette desired. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels Display a positive attitude, self-motivation, and a good work ethic Demonstrate tact, courtesy and discretion in all interactions with visitors to Keith Hills, including members, Campbell University students, faculty, staff, university officials, and the public. Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people. Exercise good judgment in complex and new situations. Detail-oriented and willing to work in a changing environment.
