Summary The Indirect Tax Associate will manage indirect tax processes that support critical business operations between the tax department, finance department, and regulatory entities, meeting and exceeding objectives.
Responsibilities
Accurately input tax payment invoices into the payment system.
Prepare and submit local beverage excise tax filings in compliance with regulations.
Investigate and resolve tax notices promptly and efficiently.
Maintain, update, and organize tax records for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
Prepare and file sales tax returns and other related filings as required.
Conduct research, review, and process unclaimed property items to ensure compliance.
Issue resale certificates and manage related documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university preferred.
One or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong mathematical abilities for problem solving and quick calculations.
