Summary The Indirect Tax Associate will be responsible for indirect processes, which support critical business operations between the tax department, finance department and regulatory entities, in such a way as to meet and exceed objectives by performing the following duties.
Accurately input tax payment invoices into the payment system.
Prepare and submit local beverage excise tax filings in compliance with regulations.
Investigate and resolve tax notices promptly and efficiently.
Maintain, update, and organize tax records for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
Prepare and file sales tax returns and other related filings as required.
Conduct research, review, and process unclaimed property items to ensure compliance.
Issue resale certificates and manage related documentation.
What you bring to RNDC
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
One or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem. The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.
