Summary
The Supplier Accounts Receivable Specialist will process transactions to Supplier AR and Fund accounts, generating invoices and posting payments via check, credit memo, EFT or ACH. The role monitors aged receivables, resolves disputes with Supplier Representatives, and collaborates with Corporate Finance and Accounting to reconcile accounts.
Responsibilities
Set up and maintain supplier accounts.
Track billing of RNDC cost to Supplier AR accounts and Funds.
Apply payments/credits to debit balances in a timely manner.
Provide regular monitoring of Supplier account balances.
Follow up with Suppliers to keep past‑due balances under 60 days.
Review billing transactions (automated or manual) for timeliness and accuracy.
Research and resolve account claims and discrepancies with Suppliers.
Prepare credits due Suppliers for pricing/discount issues and the like.
Qualifications
Language Skills:
Read, comprehend and write simple correspondence and present information to customers and coworkers.
Mathematical Skills:
Apply concepts such as percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, including interpreting technical instructions.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with the Internet, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and order‑processing systems such as Oracle OCX, Logility or Microstrategy.
Bonus Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Previous experience in the wine and spirits industry.
WSET certifications.
