Responsibilities You will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Day‑to‑day engagement : Use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, managers, and customers.
Holiday support : Additional days and extended hours during key holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). May be required to work on the holidays themselves, including weekends.
Department resets : Participate in installations and tasks such as building Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance; may involve evenings or weekends.
Team collaboration : Support other merchandiser team members in their territories when needed.
Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position. You must be able to constantly push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds; up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your shift, and may be required to climb stairs or use ladders.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Comfortable operating a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.
Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores on schedule.
