Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you’ll work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark in local stores. You’ll collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Salary and Schedule Details
Starting pay of $12.00 to $14.00 depending on skills and experience. Part‑time position with a variable schedule. Average weekly hours between 8–12 hours. Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required. Your Role and Responsibilities
You’ll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components: Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products. You communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys for required merchandising activities. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital. Holiday support: Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may work additional days and extended hours. On holidays like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day, you may be required to work on the actual holiday itself, including the weekend. Department resets: You may be part of a team responsible for installations, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Typically, you will be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which could include evenings or weekends. Team vision: You are part of a network of merchandisers who often support other team members as needed in their territories. Physical Requirements
Physically demanding job requiring consistent push, pull, lift, and carry of cartons and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and step ladders throughout the workday. Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age. Read, write, and understand English. Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Operates a digital handheld device to open and read documents. Access to Wi‑Fi network and internet. Consistent transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled. Benefits
