YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY: The BIM Modeler II is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. As a member of the production team, you are expected to provide accurate and efficient modeling and deliverables from assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Capable of successfully performing all tasks of a BIM Modeler I.

Work with the Lead Modeler/Supervisor in developing Revit families either for revised standards or for a specific project's needs.

Efficiently model and document the project.

Perform layout and input from field details into Revit in accordance with REI standards.

Lead modeling efforts on assigned scope.

Set up Revit views, view templates, and filters following Rosendin standards.

Document progress of assigned work following project standards.

Acknowledge any and all REI confidentiality and/or non‑disclosure requirements; protect proprietary or company intellectual property.

Other duties may be assigned within the business unit.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Effective self‑management.

Give verbal and written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, constructable design documents.

Follow REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards, including workflow.

Read 2D plans, electronically or hard copy, including one‑lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules.

Knowledge of industry standard software (e.g., Bluebeam, Autodesk Cloud products, NavisWorks).

Import documents (spreadsheets, photos, images, word files) into Revit projects.

Type, proofread, spell‑check work without supervision.

Work within Revit work‑sharing environments.

Coordinate 3‑D with other trades.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.

Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.

Strong, solutions‑oriented oral and written communication skills.

Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.

Interact professionally with all levels of employees.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred in Computerized Drafting field.

Minimum 2 years total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and drafting conventions and standards.

Combination of education, training, and relevant experience acceptable.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending; primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions (fluorescent lighting, air conditioning).

Noise level usually low to medium; can be loud on the job site.

Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Fully compliant with ADA and applicable state law, including reasonable accommodations for qualified disabled applicants.

Pay Range:

$35.80–$47.00 per hour.
