ASI is looking for a dynamic, client-focused
Sales Engineer
to be a key player in driving business growth. This role sits at the intersection of sales and technology, requiring both deep technical acumen and an ability to connect with clients on a strategic level.
The Sales Engineer will partner closely with the sales team to identify client pain points and design tailored solutions that align with ASI’s offerings, showcasing the value of our industry-leading core technology and software.
The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the community banking industry and excel in translating technical capabilities into practical business solutions. You will lead discovery sessions, craft innovative solutions, and present those solutions in a way that resonates with community banking executives and department leaders.
In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor to both prospects and the sales team, offering insights into system architecture, integration capabilities, and long-term scalability. Your ability to blend technical insight with business strategy will directly impact ASI’s growth.

Specific Responsibilities
Collaborate with Sales Account Executives to understand customer needs and tailor product demonstrations accordingly
Conduct live demos of ASI software highlighting features and business value
Respond to technical inquiries with clear, concise explanations
Assist in designing customized software solutions that align with client objectives
Communicate client feedback to product development
Coordinate with product management on enhancements and UAT support
Support proposal creation and technical solution presentationsRefine product documentation and marketing materials with the marketing team
Engage with prospects throughout the pre-sales process
Build strong relationships as a trusted advisor during the sales cycle
Solution Engineering & Consulting
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and demos
Provide field feedback to enhance the product
Train sales teams on technical capabilities of ASI software
Stay current on trends, competitors, and product updates

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required)
3+ years in pre‑sales, sales engineering, or technical support—ideally in SaaS or financial software
Strong technical aptitude and ability to demonstrate complex software solutions
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical value to business users
Financial services industry experience is a plus
Experience with MS Office Suite and Salesforce
Strong organizational and time management skills
