Role Overview As Kin grows its agency division, we seek a licensed
Insurance Sales Representative
to focus on our independent brokerage. You will connect clients with A‑rated carriers, provide home, auto, umbrella, and flood insurance solutions, and close deals using leads from our marketing team.
A Day In The Life
Connecting with customers via phone, email, and text; understanding their insurance needs and presenting suitable solutions.
Communicating unique features and benefits of carrier products while addressing inquiries.
Working primarily with company‑supplied leads to maximize sales potential.
Following up with prospects through phone, text, and email to move toward a sale.
Meeting and exceeding sales targets using persuasive techniques and seeking new business opportunities.
Collaborating with underwriters and customer‑service reps for a seamless experience.
Maintaining accurate CRM records of interactions and sales.
Building custom policies for each customer using internal tools.
Educating customers on home‑insurance details.
Staying updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
1+ years of insurance sales experience in a fast‑paced brokerage.
Experience selling with multiple carriers across multiple states (home, auto, umbrella, jewelry).
Active Property & Casualty license.
Outstanding understanding of insurance products and processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with diverse audiences.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, naturally closing deals.
Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and committed to exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and related tools.
Call/contact‑center experience (brokerage experience preferred).
Bonus Points
Bilingual ability (Spanish preferred).
Experience with Citizens Property Insurance.
Shift Requirements
Available to work 9 am‑6 pm CST Monday‑Friday.
No weekend requirements.
All shifts are 8 hours + 30‑minute lunch break.

Base salary $45,000 to provide a stable foundation.
Uncapped monthly earnings, including a ramping compensation plan in the first 3 months.
Commission earnings start from the first policy sold.
Eligibility for Sales Incentive Program This role is eligible to earn additional compensation through participation in our Sales Incentive Program.
