Pay Details
Typical training salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per year
Total first‑year compensation (base, bonuses, commissions): $55,000 – $75,000, with potential to earn over $100,000 for top performers
As one of the largest personal lines insurance agencies in the US, Comparion Insurance Agents connect local communities with insurance solutions to meet their unique needs, including Auto, Home, and Life products from top national and regional carriers.
Responsibilities
Build and leverage a strong local network and in‑person relationships in the community; the role requires in‑office presence in August and Bangor offices and surrounding locations.
Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
Source, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
Earn commission on leads even if other team members close the deals.
Maintain professional knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines.

Familiarity with finding, building, and growing leads and customer base.
Preferred Experience
Previous employment in a sales role where prospects were turned into customers.
State insurance license (or willingness to earn one) in Property & Casualty and Life.
