What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Promote and grow the employer's products within a specific geographic territory
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders
Execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed sales objectives through in-person and virtual communications
Identify territory-specific opportunities and barriers to product success
Collaborate with internal partners on strategic initiatives and product promotion
What is Required (Qualifications)
BS/BA degree in science or related field AND a minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical or neurology sales experience
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory environments and proven track record of exceeding sales objectives
Strong computer skills and proficiency with business systems such as Salesforce.com and Oracle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master's degree in science or related field with 2+ years of similar experience
Experience in close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution
Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic sales
Demonstrated leadership skills in cross-functional team settings
Familiarity with project management principles and tools
