During their careers, special agents carry out assignments in investigations and protection, often at multiple duty stations across the U.S. and abroad. Responsibilities include: Providing protection for various protectees. Conducting criminal investigations related to financial obligations of the United States. Planning and executing security designs for National Special Security Events. We seek talented individuals with the right background. U.S. citizenship Valid driver's license Ability to carry and use a firearm, with proficiency maintained Age between 21 and 37 at application, with exceptions for prior federal law enforcement service or veterans' preference Top Secret Clearance, maintained throughout career Uncorrected visual acuity no worse than 20/100, corrected to 20/20 in each eye Hearing loss not exceeding 25 decibels in relevant ranges Pre-employment drug testing and ongoing random testing Completion of 13 weeks at FLETC and 18 weeks at James J. Rowley Training Center Willingness to accept assignments nationwide and overseas Registration with the Selective Service System or exemption Additional Details
