Indian Springs Calistoga is a historic spa resort situated in Calistoga, California. It has 17 acres of hills, ponds, olive and palm trees, roses, and lavender. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Sous Chef. The position will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen, supervising and training staff, menu planning, food preparation, ordering and inventory management, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

Qualifications

Expertise in preparing and cooking a variety of cuisine styles

Experience in supervising and training kitchen staff

Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred

Experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred

Ability to multitask and work under pressure
