Product Support Sales Representative

Location: Lacey, WA. Full‑time. Entry level.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation: Proactively call on customer base, identify needs, meet or exceed sales strategies, develop plans, complete inspections, and attend required sales meetings.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships, provide quotes, support through internal resources, entertain customers at events, comply with safety policies, and work in adverse weather conditions.
Product Knowledge: Complete DPC PSSR foundational and advanced training, parts training, familiarize with merchandising programs, attend required training events, and complete applicable DPC courses.
Territory Management: Based in Lacey; manage accounts via SalesLink, complete leads through the sales funnel, update customer information, maintain company vehicle per policy, and submit weekly call and expense reports.
Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with service, parts, credit, and accounting departments, and attend networking events and trade shows to promote dealership products and services.
Qualifications & Experience
Required: Proven sales experience (heavy equipment, construction, or related industries), strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting or exceeding sales goals, willingness to travel within the Washington dealer territory, valid WA driver’s license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred: Familiarity with Caterpillar products and services, proficiency with CRM software and sales reporting tools, and a BA/BS degree.
Compensation Base salary of $50,000 per year plus commission, with on‑target earnings (OTE) of $85,000–$90,000 in the first year.
