The Distribution Field Sales Specialist position is accountable for driving distribution sales in the West Territory for the Lab Diagnostics businesses. The Distribution Field Sales Specialist position owns the regional relationship and strategy with several national distributors and facilitates interactions at the field level.

This person should have experience and a working knowledge of Distributor sales models, strong sales skills, and knowledge of Laboratory Diagnostics and POC testing is preferred. They should also be able to communicate readily with both internal and external customers and have strong business acumen skills.

Your role:

Achieve sales, profit and growth objectives for assigned distributors. Drive product launches, product training, business reviews. Manage Distributor funnel and forecasting for the assigned distributors and deliver on each forecast. Prepares strategic plans in coordination with marketing and sales leads to build long term partnerships. Develops and implements plan of action for meeting these objectives, acting as the overall lead to coordinate activities across internal departments and teams. Conducts regular business reviews with distributors to ensure customer satisfaction, address issues and identify additional partnership opportunities. Provides market intelligence for the sales organization. Demonstrates knowledge of products, services, and trends within the industry, and assists leadership with the development of sales strategies that identify the Siemens Healthineers advantage, or address and win competitive challenges in the marketplace. Represents Siemens Healthineers at National and Regional sales meetings. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence varying roles across the organization. Utilizes data management software to secure territory intelligence and develops a strategy; uses the CRM to record current accurate and complete account information and activity. Your Expertise:

Familiarity with laboratory diagnostics and point-of-care products and market. Experience working and collaborating within cross functional team. Strong experience with distribution sales, promotions, acute and non-acute market, and funnel management. Previous capital sales experience with demonstrated track record of success. Ability to provide regular forecasts and assess channel partner performance. Business Level interface with distribution partners on owned processes. Exceptional customer facing skills. BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree. 3+ years' experience in distribution and / or Laboratory sales. Experience using Share or similar CRM tool. High degree of business acumen to include standard competencies (financial, market positioning, healthcare industry, and customer). Ability to develop and deliver business reviews. Must have clean driving record and ability to travel a minimum of 70% throughout U.S.

The base pay range for this position is:

$107,200 - $147,400

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.

Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position.
