Our client is an established and respected supplier of food ingredients and specialty chemicals sold to manufacturers of food, nutraceutical, and beverage products. We are searching for a food ingredient sales professional who sells ingredient and chemicals to pet food manufacturers in the USA and has existing relationships with these types of accounts. All sales are in bulk and all sales are B2B. You do not need to live in Chicago for this job. You can live anywhere within the continental USA.
Candidate Attributes:
Bachelor's degree preferred
5 years minimum experience in B2B sales of pet food ingredients or chemicals to manufacturers of pet food products
Prior experience working for a manufacturer or distributor of pet food ingredients in a sales, sales support, tech service, or R&D capacity is required
Already have relationships established with scientists and purchasing managers at pet food manufacturers
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to travel – on average - 3 days a week to visit accounts
A confident and hard-working attitude.
Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic personality.
