A property management company in New York City is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations across residential and/or commercial properties. This role involves tenant coordination, administrative support, and assisting with financial and maintenance oversight to ensure properties are well-managed and tenants receive excellent service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day property management operations
Serve as a point of contact for tenants regarding inquiries, requests, and issues
Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with vendors and contractors
Assist with rent collections, billing, and basic financial trackingHelp prepare reports, leases, and tenant documentation
Maintain organized property records and files
Support property inspections and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Assist Property Manager with special projects and administrative tasks
Specific Qualifications and/or Requirements
Prior experience in property management or real estate administration preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with basic computer systems and property management software a plus
Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
