Patient Account Representative
Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN)

Location & Schedule Remote, Full‑time (40 hours/week)
Salary $18–$20 per hour, based on experience and state of residence.

Job Duties
Timely follow‑up and resolution on unpaid, underpaid, or denied claims with all payors.
Resolve denials and submit appeals.
Respond promptly to billing inquiries from patients and insurance companies.
Work open credits on the A/R.
Collaborate with clinics to identify and resolve issues regarding outstanding account balances.
Utilize the most efficient resources to secure timely payment of open claims.
Research assigned correspondence and take necessary action to resolve requests.
Ensure daily accomplishments contribute toward company goals for A/R.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of medical accounts receivable experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience resolving payor denials.
Understanding of medical claims processing.
Experience with insurance systems.
Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations as they relate to billing and collections (state and federal).
Ability to read an Explanation of Benefits.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
