YOUR ROLE AT CNG ENGINEERING As a Construction Field Administrator, you will support the construction phase of MEP projects by conducting field observations, reviewing documentation, and coordinating with project teams. You will help ensure that mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) systems are installed in accordance with approved construction documents, specifications, and design intent.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Lead with Excellence
Coordinate and conduct regular field observations and site visits to review MEPF construction activities.
Verify that materials and installation methods comply with approved construction drawings, specifications, and design standards.
Review field installations to confirm alignment with project scope and design intent.
Collaborate as a Team
Examine and understand project scope, specifications, and construction documents related to MEPF systems.
Review and process contractor submittals in coordination with the design team.
Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) with support from engineering staff, as needed.
Collaborate across business lines to support project schedules and timelines.
Persevere Through Challenges
Document site visit activities and evaluate construction progress across multiple projects.
Adapt to changing site conditions, schedules, and project requirements while maintaining accuracy and organization.
Deliver with Integrity
Prepare field reports and maintain project records in a timely and organized manner.
Ensure documentation accurately reflects site conditions, observations, and project status.
Complete required safety training for each job site in accordance with contractor requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a construction‑related field or equivalent experience
Recent experience in construction and MEP‑related environments
Strong time management, organizational, and critical‑thinking skills
Advanced attention to detail with effective verbal and technical writing abilities
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and disciplines
Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE
Working knowledge of
Fieldwire
preferred
Working knowledge of
Bluebeam
Familiarity with
Revit and AutoCAD
for BIM coordination is a plus
Proficiency in
Microsoft 365 , including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work performed in both indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather conditions
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods; occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting
Ability to lift up to
60 pounds
and climb laddersAbility to complete required job‑site safety training
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
