Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order documentation.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, ensuring no damage occurs.
- Stage orders for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Utilize the necessary PPE at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to order fulfillment and warehouse operations.
- Contribute to team efforts and assist other departments as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory control.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet picking quotas.
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Commitment to following all safety regulations and using required PPE is mandatory.
