Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets and WMS system prompts.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for packing and shipment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other picking equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring easy access to products.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervision immediately.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking targets and overall team goals within the logistics department.
- Follow proper lifting techniques when handling products to prevent injury.
- Assist with packing and other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and bending for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet performance standards.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
