Position Summary The primary function of this position is to drive sales growth of the Company’s wide array of products and services within a geographical area. The Inside Sales Specialist leverages best‑in‑class industry and product knowledge to champion the Company’s value add within strategically aligned customer bases. The role engages with existing, new, and target customers to increase our industry and sales footprint. Daily functions include making outbound calls, processing customer orders, processing quotes, and more.
Essential Functions
Proactively and consistently engages with new, existing, and potential customers to establish and build relationships.
Hunts for new business and makes outbound sales including cold calls.
Sells our Core 4 Product Categories – Insulation, Roofing, Gypsum (Drywall), and Siding.
Develops and drives strategic growth strategies to better manage relationships with customer accounts.
Utilizes product knowledge and industry/geography/market awareness to represent the Company’s products and services successfully.
Acquires knowledge of market conditions and competitive landscape; uses this knowledge and customer relationships in competitive situations and negotiations to sell at the highest possible price.
Acts as a key point of contact for various customer‑facing activities, including sales quoting, managing orders, and order confirmations.
Educates and advises customers through deep market knowledge, current trends, changes, and challenges to become a trusted advisor.
Interacts daily with the sales team to strategize on how to grow market share in combined territories.
Prepares and submits weekly sales reports.

Requirements
1 to 3 years of sales experience with demonstrated success, including outbound calls and cold calling.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Experience in the building products industry is helpful.
Up to 10% travel.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass drug test and background verifications.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to sit, use hands to find, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
Vision required: close, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Flexibility – ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with arms and legs.

Static strength – ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
