Job Title: Audio / Visual (AV) Contractor
Location: Sidney, OH 45365
Duration: 9 Months Contract
Description: The Audio / Visual (AV) Contractor position is a part of the Audio/Visual team and functions within the client Information Technology business function. As an AV Contractor in the Audio/Visual team, you will be supporting technologies that assist our internal customers with global collaboration through the use of conference room equipment and standards, visual management systems, video systems and video production, photography, video editing, live event audio equipment, webcasting, and digital signage.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support end users with daily audio/visual operations including conference room and meeting support Support pre-recorded or live events that include special equipment setup or video editing Travel to other Copeland locations to provide AV support Respond to user issues in a timely manner to support conference room equipment and systems troubleshooting Responsible for engaging with internal customers to design basic audio/visual solutions Configure, install and/or coordinate with AV vendors to deliver AV solutions. Coordinate testing and sign-off of AV systems with internal stakeholders prior to go-live. ttending meetings with internal customers and vendors to discuss, plan, and schedule audio/visual Initiate equipment or services quotes based on end-user requirements Record video, audio, and/or still photography and produce/edit media via postproduction tools Design, install, configure, and manage digital signage systems dminister system oversight by monitoring and administering cloud-based AV management software. Maintain AV asset inventory, including equipment lifecycle and spare parts tracking. Track AV incidents and requests via ServiceNow Tickets and resolve issues within SLA times Conduct end-user training on audio/visual technologies and document knowledge base articles as necessary via ServiceNow
Requirements (Basic):
ssociate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Broadcasting, Communications Analysis or equivalent Experience with PC, Network, and Server support Working Knowledge with various types of Audio/Visual equipment such as: Cisco, Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Barco Working knowledge in Voice over IP (VOIP) Must be self-motivated and self-starting Demonstrated customer service skills Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Requirements (Preferred)
2+ years of experience in IT, technical, or audio role Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Products (such as Premiere, Audition, and Photoshop Working knowledge of photography and videography Familiarization with studio and event lighting Familiarization with audio mixers and cabling Working knowledge of Blackmagic video switchers, OBS, and other webcasting tools
