Order Picker

Job Summary:
Become an integral part of our St. Louis, Missouri logistics team as an Order Picker. This position is crucial for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve specific items according to order specifications. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
• Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Use hand-held scanners and other technology to track inventory and update order status.
• Package items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
• Operate pallet jacks to transport goods within the facility.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order details.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods, and perform frequent lifting.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
