
Senior Paralegal

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paralegal with expertise in employment law to join our team in the financial services industry. This role will be responsible for managing employment-related matters, supporting litigation and investigations, and developing processes that strengthen the Employment Legal teams ability to support business partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities Administrative Support
Draft, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, and presentations
Manage employment intakes, conduct initial review of documentation, and prepare initial responses
Maintain organized case files and records within Google Drive
Schedule meetings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings
Assist with invoice management from outside counsel and vendors
Support development and implementation of employment legal processes to improve efficiency
Litigation Management
Manage case files for litigation, arbitrations, agency charges, and internal investigations
Track deadlines, statutes of limitations, and maintain accurate calendars
Coordinate discovery responses, including collection, review, and production of documents
Assist in preparation of pleadings, motions, briefs, and filings
Liaise with outside counsel to ensure efficient information flow and compliance with policies
Compliance & Investigations
Support internal investigations by organizing documentation and scheduling interviews
Assist with compliance initiatives related to employment laws and regulations
Help develop and maintain training materials and resources for HR and management teams
Project Management
Develop and manage project plans for key initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and resource tracking
Identify gaps and resolve blockers to maintain project momentum
Facilitate communication with stakeholders across departments
Conduct retrospectives and document lessons learned from projects
Required Qualifications
57 years of in-house employment paralegal or case management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proficiency with Google Drive / G-Suite
Experience with case management and eDiscovery tools (e.g., Exterro)
Experience with billing and invoice management systems
Education and/or Experience
All education levels considered, provided candidate meets experience requirements
Nice to Have
Strong background in litigation holds, discovery management, and document production
Data tracking and analytics experience for litigation and employment matters
Demonstrated project management skills and cross-functional collaboration
Excellent organizational abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid 3 days in office)
