Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting pay will be $12.50 to $14.50 depending on skills and experience.
Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours are 8–10 hours.
Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Day-to-day engagement: Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory; communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and answer required surveys.
Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours during peak holidays, and may be required on holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day.
Department resets: Participate in installations and tasks such as building fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting sections; notified two weeks in advance.
Team cooperation: Support other merchandisers as needed in their territories.
Physical Requirements This role is physically demanding. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may need to climb stairs or step ladders.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Read, write, and understand English.
Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Operate a digital handheld device to read documents and interpret information.
Access Wi‑Fi and the internet.
Consistent transportation for scheduled assignments.
