Join Hallmark Cards as a Hallmark Field Merchandiser. This part‑time role requires working independently to showcase strong organization and time‑management skills, while establishing retailer relationships and serving as the face of Hallmark.
Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work in various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. Your responsibilities are divided into three major components: - Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory using a mobile device and technology to report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. - Holiday support: work additional days and hours during key holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). On some holidays you may be required to work on the holiday itself. - Department resets: participate in installations, relocations of Hallmark fixtures, and card department resets as scheduled, often with two weeks’ notice for remodel assignments. - Team support: support colleagues across the Hallmark field organization when needed.
Salary and Schedule Details
Starting pay: $12.50–$14.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
Eligible for annual pay increases.
Part‑time position with variable schedule.
Average weekly hours: 8–14 hours.
Availability required during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will walk, stand, kneel, squat, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
Read, write, and speak English.
Capable of repeatedly lifting 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
Operate a digital hand‑held device.
Have Wi‑Fi and internet access.
Consistent transportation to and between assigned stores.
