Description
CONCIERGE - ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY - PART TIME - WEEKENDS 9a-5p AND/OR WEEKNIGHTS 3p-8p
JOB PURPOSE
The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is vital in fostering a welcoming, safe, and responsive environment that enhances the quality of life for residents in an assisted living community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet residents, visitors, and staff warmly and professionally
Manage front desk operations including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and directing calls appropriately
Monitor visitor access and maintain security protocols
Assist residents with requests such as transportation scheduling, appointment reminders, and general information
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely service delivery (e.g., maintenance, housekeeping, dining)
Maintain accurate logs and records (e.g., visitor sign‑in, package deliveries, resident requests)
Support event coordination and community programming as needed
Respond to emergency situations calmly and in accordance with facility protocols
Uphold confidentiality and respect for resident privacy at all time
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Problem Solving
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum 1 year of customer service or administrative experience, preferably in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
Familiarity with HIPAA and elder care standards is a plus
