Little Ruby’s Dallas, part of our growing café brand, is seeking a detail-oriented
Prep Cook
to join our kitchen team. If you enjoy preparing fresh ingredients, supporting a high-volume kitchen, and helping create delicious dishes, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do
Prepare ingredients, including chopping, portioning, and measuring, to ensure smooth service
Assist with mise en place for daily menu items and specials
Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, storage, and equipment
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Support line cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen staff during service
Help with inventory checks, receiving, and labeling ingredients
What We’re Looking For
Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive attitude
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
