The Camphill School
Immediate opening for part‑time prep cook! Come and join our dedicated school community and cook for our day and residential students on our school campus in Chester County. Position is 25 hours a week from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
Prepping and cooking meals for 80+ people daily.
Preparing meals from scratch following a menu plan.
Some meal planning in coordination with Head Chef.
Accommodating food allergies and special diets.
Maintaining a hygienic, clean, organized workspace as determined by the guidelines of keeping a commercial kitchen.
Maintaining or exceeding standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
Overseeing food storage; checks labels and dates.
Qualifications
Cooking experience.
Certification to run a commercial kitchen in Pennsylvania preferred.
Excellent time management skill.
Kind personality and temperament.
Ability to work as a team member.
Reliable transportation.
High school diploma required.
PA State Police, child abuse history clearances, fingerprinting and TB clearance required.
