Opportunity Overview Great opportunity for outdoor work and freedom! Salary: $22.00 per hour.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle from home to job sites in response to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocations.
Utilize mapping tools, locating equipment, and other location information to identify underground utilities such as electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines.
Mark utility locations with paint, flags, and provide relevant information to excavation personnel or authorities.
Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs according to the established rotation schedule.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attitude
Computer skills
Valid driver’s license in the applicable state of employment
Ability to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule
Subject to Vannguard’s Drug‑Free Workplace Program and required to complete a pre‑employment drug screening
Able to self‑manage and communicate with supervisors and clients in a timely manner
Physical Demands
Drive 50 to 300+ miles daily as required by the assigned geographic locating area
Get in and out of a vehicle 50+ times a day
Stand and walk lengthy distances (1+ mile) over uneven terrain in all weather conditions
Sit for long periods of time while driving
Lift and/or move 50 to 150 pounds
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Education & Licenses
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Driver’s license (Required)
Work Location & Schedule
Multiple locations
Full‑time
10 hour shift, Monday to Friday
On‑call and overtime as needed
COVID‑19 Considerations This position is outdoors and involves minimal contact and interaction with others.
