Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser you will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will work with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS

Your starting pay will be $12.50–$14.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours are between 9‑12 hours per week.

Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities Will Include

Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor inventory within and outside the Hallmark department. Perform required merchandising activities and maintain professional interaction with store employees and customers.

Holiday support: Provide additional hours around seasonal demand (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). Availability may be required on the actual holidays.

Department resets: Assist in installing fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Two‑week notification for remodel assignments; may involve evenings or weekends.

Team support: Collaborate with other merchandisers whenever needed to support team members in their territories.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires high energy and urgency. You will be on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, frequently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must be able to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and occasionally climb stairs or step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Proficient with digital handheld devices for reading documents and interpreting information.

Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.

Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
