Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time-management skills while establishing retailer relationships. You serve as the face of Hallmark, collaborating with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule
Your starting pay will be $11.00–$13.00 per hour, depending on experience.
This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.
Average weekly hours are 8–12 hours.
You must be available the week before and after major holidays; weekends may be required.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products using a mobile device; communicate with the supervisor and report time.
Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours during major holidays, and may be required on the holiday itself.
Department resets: Participate in installing Hallmark fixtures and relocating departments, with two‑week advance notice.
Team collaboration: Support fellow merchandisers as needed across territories.
Physical Requirements This role requires consistent lifting of cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds). You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and ladders.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age.
Read, write, and understand English.
Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Operate a digital handheld device.
Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
