Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) - Newark, OH 43055
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization, time management, and ability to establish retailer relationships while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule
Hourly pay: $12.50–$14.50 depending on skills and experience
Eligible for annual pay increases
Part‑time position with a variable schedule
Average weekly hours: 5–12 hours
Availability required before and after major holidays, including weekends
Role and Responsibilities
Use mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products in assigned stores
Communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys for merchandising activities
Support seasonal demand around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on the holiday itself when required
Participate in installations, fixture building, and card department resets, with advance notice of remodel assignments; may include evenings or weekends
Collaborate with other merchandisers as part of Hallmark’s field organization
Physical Requirements Physically demanding job requiring energy and sense of urgency. Must push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 lb routinely and up to 50 lb occasionally. Must kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and step ladders throughout the workday.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Read, write, and understand English
Ability to lift up to 30 lb routinely and 50 lb occasionally
Operate a digital handheld device
Access to Wi‑Fi network and internet
Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores as scheduled
