Residential Service HVAC Mechanic
R & T Yoder Electric, Plumbing & HVAC Inc (R & T Yoder HVAC, Inc.) is seeking a full‑time, experienced Residential Service HVAC Mechanic in Columbus, OH.
Salary:
$60,000–$95,000 per year (up to $40/hour depending on experience). Sign‑on bonus:
$300. Vehicle:
Company vehicle and uniforms provided.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
4+ years HVAC field experience
Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
Removing old HVAC systems
Installing new HVAC systems
Performing routine maintenance
Training junior team members
Communicating with clients and customers
Ordering and maintaining equipmentRunning pipe and duct systems through homes
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
Understanding refrigeration cycles
Interpreting technical data such as pressure and temperature
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
We’re looking for a problem‑solver who enjoys troubleshooting, is self‑motivated, possesses excellent communication skills, and can explain technical information clearly to laypersons. Punctuality, reliability, respect for others, and pride in workmanship are essential.
