60+ years of surgical innovation—from pioneering sutures to spearheading minimally invasive procedures. We deliver products such as sutures, staplers, energy devices, trocars, and hemostats, helping surgeons treat serious conditions worldwide.
The Account Executive – Advanced Surgical Instruments Will
Own the full portfolio of Ethicon surgical devices and solutions, with a focus on hemostasis, energy sealing, surgical stapling, and wound closure platforms.
Sell surgical solutions primarily in operating rooms to surgeons and hospital decision‑makers.
Manage a defined sales territory and assigned physician and hospital accounts.
Achieve forecasted sales in the assigned territory.
Set priorities and make informed business decisions based on account opportunities.
Additional Job Responsibilities Include
Train clinicians on proper product use in the operating room environment.
Address customer questions and objections consistently with product indications and sales training.
Execute the selling cycle to drive results in a concise, ethical, and compliant manner.
Conduct sales presentations using current methods learned in training.
Analyze market data and maintain updated knowledge to support business planning.
Build strong relationships with key physicians, hospital personnel, and authorized distributors, and conduct customer education seminars.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
1+ years of relevant medical sales experience (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology) with demonstrated achievement of sales objectives.
Valid driver’s license in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven sales performance with high growth and results vs plan.
Strong time‑management and planning skills.
Experience in hospital‑based pharmaceutical or medical device sales (operating room).
Experience developing new, innovative markets.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and team‑oriented skills.
Note: Grade/Salary will shift depending upon commiserate experience.
