Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic Logistics team in Portland, Oregon, as an Order Picker! We are seeking dedicated individuals to efficiently and accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial for ensuring timely order fulfillment and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety.
Responsibilities:

• Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using pick lists, RF scanners, or other electronic devices.
• Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
• Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
• Operate order picking equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or order pickers, as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts by promptly reporting discrepancies.
• Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
• Assist other warehouse functions as needed to support the overall Logistics operation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order information accurately.

• Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 40 lbs), standing, walking, reaching, and bending for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to Safety and maintaining a secure work environment.
