Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced fulfillment center in Seattle, Washington, as an Order Picker! We are seeking diligent and efficient individuals to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their items correctly and on time. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, identifying products using scanning devices or pick lists, and assembling orders. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily picking targets. This position requires a strong focus on Safety, and adherence to all warehouse protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 35 pounds, walking, and standing for extended periods. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product identification and quantities.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Place picked items into appropriate containers or onto pallets.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity goals.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding order status.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to following Safety rules and wearing PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
