Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately record all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding warehouse operations and **PPE**.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding shipment status and inventory levels.
- Handle physical demands including **Lifting** up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and documented for **Logistics** tracking.
- Prioritize **Safety** in all aspects of the job, including equipment operation and material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving or a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
