Job Summary:
Our San Antonio, Texas facility is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and efficient warehouse operations. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess excellent organizational skills, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse setting and a keen eye for detail. Understanding of inventory management principles is a plus. You will be expected to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. This role plays a vital part in our supply chain and requires collaboration with other departments.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
  • Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Accurately record all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding warehouse operations and **PPE**.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding shipment status and inventory levels.
  • Handle physical demands including **Lifting** up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and documented for **Logistics** tracking.
  • Prioritize **Safety** in all aspects of the job, including equipment operation and material handling.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in shipping and receiving or a similar warehouse role.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
