Description This position is ideal for a mid-level marketing professional to join the Special Markets Marketing team as a Marketing Manager to help drive growth of Invisalign case volume and iTero utilization within the Dental Support Organization (DSO) channel. Partnering closely with Business Development Managers and cross-functional marketing teams, you’ll deliver customer-centric insights, communications, and growth programs that accelerate adoption and conversion across B2B and B2C audiences. This role is customer-facing and critical to shaping Align Technology’s DSO growth strategy and long-term business success.
Role expectations
Partner closely with Business Development Managers to support account-level growth strategies, pipeline acceleration, and expansion opportunities within DSOs.
Serve as a customer-facing marketing lead, building strong relationships with DSO executives, marketing, and operations teams to understand business priorities and adoption barriers.
Develop and execute integrated B2B and B2C marketing strategies, communications, and growth programs to drive Invisalign case volume and iTero utilization.
Translate customer insights into scalable marketing programs, customized where needed to support DSO accounts.
Lead event and experiential marketing initiatives, including trade shows, live events, and virtual engagements, in collaboration with professional, product, and channel marketing teams.
Create DSO-facing sales and marketing collateral in partnership with GP, Ortho, Product, and Special Markets Marketing teams.
Collaborate with marcom to execute targeted email and content campaigns to DSO C-suite leaders, doctors, and practice teams.
Monitor growth program performance against forecasts, adoption metrics, and engagement KPIs; identify opportunities to optimize programs and improve outcomes.
What we're looking for
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
Experience: 6+ years of experience in customer, field, or growth marketing; experience working closely with sales or business development teams preferred.
Skills: Strong strategic marketing skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth programs; solid project management capabilities.
Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with comfort engaging directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority in a fast-paced environment.
Complementary skills
Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM tools, and marketing automation.
Strength in event marketing, professional engagement programs, and executive-level communications.
Familiarity with DSOs, national/corporate accounts, healthcare, dental, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries.
Pay Transparency If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.
For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.
Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.

If employed for at least 12 consecutive months, Align will grant up to 6 weeks of paid Parental Leave. If employed for less than 12 consecutive months, Align will grant up to 4 weeks of paid Parental Leave. All parental leave must be completed within one year of the birth or placement of the child. Parental leave is in addition to any state and/or local parental leave benefits. Three days of paid bereavement leave. In some cases, due to travel the amount of paid leave may be extended to 5 paid days off. To the extent applicable state or local law offers more generous benefits, Align complies with any such law.
Non-exempt employees will receive full pay for up to 10 days of jury duty. Exempt employees will receive their full salary during any week they serve and perform any work. Other insurance such as legal, critical illness, voluntary accident, long-term care, auto, home and pet insurance are available for purchase.
