Job Overview Renew Medic by HDF is seeking a skilled and motivated Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Maker to join our growing team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will craft, restore, rebuild, and install high-quality cabinetry and millwork for residential projects. As
Lead Cabinet Builder
your primary responsibility will be to be the leader of building high quality cabinet boxes and drawers in an efficient and timely manner while providing the highest quality of work possible. There must be an open line of communication between this role and the production manager, field technicians, finishers and the General Manager. We ask that you help promote a desired company culture. This role reports to the Production Manager.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Fabricate, build, repair, assemble, disassemble, and clean cabinetry and components.
Occasionally assist field technicians with on-site removals, installations, pickups, and deliveries when needed.
Supervise other Cabinet Builder 1 & 2’s.
Ensure daily communication flow with lead technicians, production manager, and general manager.
Ensure documentation coming from technicians and production staff provides you with information to perform your job correctly and well.
Familiar with and follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized workspace.
Utilize all cabinet building related equipment and machinery including table saws, miter saws, routers, edge banders, bandsaws, jointers, planers, sanders, power tools, dust collection, etc.
Keep inventory of materials needed for making cabinets and communicating to production manager before needs arise.
Proficient in working in a workshop and on-site customer environment.
Proper sanding of solid and veneered wood cabinet surfaces.
Identify wood species, colors, materials, and grain patterns.
Ensure cabinet components are prepped and ready for finishing team.
Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems.
Color matching skillset.
Utilize and become proficient in DASH job management system.
Maintain proper records of duties performed and transactions completed.
Provide the necessary records to the office for the completion of necessary invoices, records, and reports.
Qualifications Preferred
5+ years building cabinetry, furniture, or other trim carpentry.
Experience in insurance claims, construction, home services, woodworking, home building or other similar industries.
Required
3+ years building cabinetry or furniture or trim.
Experience working with woodworking equipment including table saws, miter saws, routers, edge banders, bandsaws, jointers, planers, sanders, power tools, dust collection and other similar equipment.
Strict adherence to safety.
Extremely attentive to detail.
Extremely organized.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can meet strict production deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills.
Willingness to help in other areas of the business when needed.
