We are seeking a motivated and results-driven
Outside Sales Representative
to grow our dealer network and develop direct sales relationships with national and regional landscaping companies. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and relationship‑building to closing deals and supporting long‑term customer success.
The ideal candidate has strong B2B sales experience, trailer or landscaping experience, is comfortable on the road, and excels at building trust with dealers and large fleet buyers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with
trailer dealers
within assigned territory
Prospect and sell directly to
national and regional landscaping companies
and other fleet customers
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
Conduct in‑person sales calls, product presentations, and facility visits
Educate dealers and end users on product features, specifications, and competitive advantages
Work closely with internal teams (production, operations, customer service) to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines
Track activity, pipeline, and sales performance using CRM tools
Attend trade shows, dealer events, and industry functions as required
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of
outside B2B sales experience
(manufacturing, equipment, automotive, or trailer industry preferred)
Experience selling through
dealer networks
and/or to
fleet or national accounts
Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
Comfortable with frequent travel within assigned territory
Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or similar tools
Valid driver’s license
Preferred (But Not Required)
Experience in the
trailer, landscaping, construction, or equipment industries
Existing relationships with trailer dealers or landscaping companies
Understanding of manufacturing processes and lead times
Starting salary $110,000‑$120,000 plus commission (based on experience)
Additional performance‑based incentives
Late model company pickup truck plus gas card
Expense credit card
